Yet another great episode. This one takes you about as deep as I've ever seen on television, and yet it is never maudlin. It so nicely juggles plot lines that begin with humor and end with moving the characters -- and the audience -- to a new place. These are great writers. They know how to go just far enough into the seriousness of the lives these characters have led, and then they leave you with a smile on your face, feeling good when the credits start to role.

A Reality Check for Bonnie
showlowjoe7 April 2022
This episode is well-written, as most of MOM's episodes are, but this particular episode has a fairly shocking revelation near the end.
The main premise with Bonnie and Tammy re-visiting one of their former foster homes is funny with Bonnie being served some humble pie from a still very wise and generous former foster mom to them both.
The sub-premise with Jill and Christie has a likewise pretty funny coincidental surprise nearer to the end of the episode.
Perhaps the best episode of the entire series, but you need to watch until the end!
