Jason Lives: Friday the 13th Part VI (1986)
He's back!!!!!!!!!!!
I think this movie has a different feel to the other friday movies,I'm not sure what it is-maybe its that theres a mixture of comedy and horror.
My favourite thing about the movie is the cheesy song at the end by Alice cooper.always raises a laugh amongst me and my friends.
I also think that Kane Hodder portrays Jason best,oh well nevermind at least in this one Jason gets his own special dedicated song-He's back he's the man behind the mask, and he's out of control.....and out of touch with the other Friday movies.
Jaws: The Revenge (1987)
Jaws joins Weight watchers!!!!!!!!!!!
first of all let me start off by saying this......why?
If they were going to carry on the jaws franchise then they could have made it the least bit credible.
Jaws 3 is a classic when compared to this.Lorraine gary is just so annoying in her role as Ellen brody, and the shark looks anorexic.
As the films go on the shark effects get worse instead of getting better.
I do hope that another Jaws movie is released, mainly to use the special effects that are availible today, and obviously a better storyline.
From the moment Ellen Brody hugs her son Mike Brody and utters the words.......'It came for him..it waited all this time' you know you are in for trouble.
Keep away from the movie and not the water!!!!!!!!!
Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan (1989)
Jason takes Manhattan.............for 10 minutes!!!!!
Okay first of all let me start off by saying that I enjoy the Friday films for there cheesiness, bad acting and scary 80's fashion and hair.
when I was young I used to be scared to death of Jason but now I see him as a comical character, unlike Michael myers whom i still find creepy.
This film is the same as the other friday films, with the only things changing being the location.
I think they should have taken my subtitle for the film instead of the original as it could then not be classed as false advetisment.
lets hope Jason X makes mr Vorhees scary again,if not, long live the HALLOWEEN movies better bad guy, better movies and better acting!!!!!
Requiem for Murder (1999)
Get your act together Molly!!!!!!
What can I say,I am a huge Molly fan but this movie was just terrible and so boring,it played more like a t.v movie, Come on Molly get your act together and start appearing in some decent movies that actually make money at the box office unlike this awful mess!
Halloween II (1981)
A hospital with no staff as if! Avoid like the plague!
After reading all the comments of praise for Halloween 2 I felt the need to make my point on the movie too.
Halloween 2 is a let down of monstrous proportions. The character of Laurie is wasted in this movie being tucked away in some dark hospital room for most of the film.
The acting from the rest of the cast is awful with some very dull and boring scenes.
But the biggest load of rubbish about this movie is the hospital. I have never seen a hospital with such little staff and such little patients very unrealistic as real hospitals are always on the go,with plenty of lights clearly not the case in this pathetic movie.
Thank goodness for the original and H20 and Halloween 4 all with suspense decent acting and a story!
As for Halloween 2 I think I've said enough.
The Breakfast Club (1985)
The best Brat Pack film of all time!!
What can I say. JOHN HUGHES IS A GENIUS !! This is without a doubt the best film I have ever seen. Judd Nelson's portrayal of John Bender is truly sexy. Oh, how I wish I was Molly Ringwald. It's a shame that the cast have fallen into the traps of American sitcoms and T.V. movies. However the film would probably not have the same impact on the teenage population, today. Saying this, I first saw this film in the mid 90's as a young teenager and have loved it ever since. Although the film is set in one place for most of the film, the script and the chemistry between the actors more than make up for it. In conclusion, I would say that The Breakfast Club is explosive viewing, so ENJOY.
A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984)
scary but funny too !!!
This was the first horror film I saw and I will never forget it. I still get chills whenever I see freddy krugers face. It is by far one of the scariest horror movies around. But I still think that halloween tops it. The nightmares are funny but gory at the same time. It is a must for all horror movie buffs. Go see and make sure you sleep sound at night.
Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers (1995)
Mike's back with a hunchback-Truly awful!!
This is by far the worst of the Halloween movies, the whole idea of Halloween 6 is stupid and not at all scary It's trying to tell us that Michael was meant to kill because it was written in the stars-utter rubbish. Also in this installment Michael looks like an overweight old man with a hunchback.Avoid, avoid, avoid!
Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers (1988)
After the Original and H20 Part 4 comes in third place!
To be fair Halloween 4 is a pretty good movie. I am a fan of the series and until H20 came along This was my second favourite Halloween movie,(The original being my favourite)But it's ten times better than Halloween 2,5 and 6
There are some nice scares to be had and the film works best when you watch it with a big group of people,at someone's house with the lights off. The cast is pretty good, except for the Sheriff's tarty daughter and as in parts 5 and 6 Donald Pleasance does tend to overact a bit. Apart from that the movie is entertaining, this H20 and the original are in my mind the best of the series.

Halloween H20: 20 Years Later (1998)
True to the Original!
H20,although not as good as the original it's still a great film. Far better than all the sequels and the disappointing Scream 2.
Jamie Lee Curtis is back with a vengeance, ready to face her crazy brother Michael in an excellent finale. The movie has a very tense beginning nicely building up to the last half hour which is non stop action.
People who say H20 has a low body count and is low on gore should not forget that, the original was the same, and with the original the movie sets itself up for the last half hour, which H20 does too.
The supporting cast is good too, especially LL cool J.
Overall H20 works because it is true to the original. Go see it everyone!
The Truman Show (1998)
Hyped to the heavens
This movie was terrible, very very slow and not at all as I expected it to be. It's just another one of those movies that is hyped to the heavens, and in the end it does not deliver. Stear Clear!
