Dark Angel (2000–2002)

One of the few shows/movies which feature a Jessica Alba that could act.

I agree with a previous poster that said the show needed better writers...and more specifically, better DIALOGUE writers. I loved the show and wish it would have continued on for more seasons. I felt Jessica Alba did an excellent and convincing job acting with what she was given.

And to the poster who said she wasn't athletic enough...you're a complete idiot! One of my first thoughts was that, besides her acting and her looks, she was perfectly picked BECAUSE of the athleticism.

I hope that they either bring the show back, or they do a feature film with the original cast.

Cry-Baby (1990)

The Worst Movie Ever Made!

I can't think of any movie that is more horrible than "Cry Baby". Absolutely stupid in every possible way imaginable. Even a compulsive liar wouldn't be able to resist expressing his true feelings on how this movie suffers from a utter and total absence of entertainment in every sense of the word. The plot was empty, the acting was worse, and the dialogue was horrific.

Entrapment (1999)

Started slow with poor dialogue but picked up and was very entertaining.

During the first part of the movie the dialogue was terrible. This is not a fault on the part of Catherine Zeta-Jones nor Sean Connery who are both capable actors. The writing seemed very amateurish in terms of dialogue as if the writer is a professional in writing action, but wanted to try his hand in the romantic/dramatic genre.

Eventually, however, the movie picks up in action and the need and desire for such dialogue is minimized. Overall, the movie was very entertaining, quite action and suspense filled and keeps one guessing as to who is on what side till the very end. However, as this puzzle started to unravel, I was unsure if it would ever become completely undone.

I recommend the movie as it was very entertaining, but I wouldn't put it on any top 20 list of mine.
