Really Touching
29 July 2001
I saw this movie on the Animal Planet channel, and it was really a sweet movie. It was about a little girl who was injured in a car accident that claimed her father's life. She and her mother move into a trailer park, and next door is a stable. She soon falls in love with a horse named Ginger, who has also gone through some rough times. The two of them form a bond, and begin Barrel Racing. This was just a really nice story, with good acting. I recommend it to anyone, but especially people who love animals and horses.

The Guilty (2000)
Wow!
22 June 2001
OK. This is one of the best movies I've seen. The plot was deliciously twisted, and the acting was superb. I cannot believe that this was as good as it was. I didn't expect much from the cover, and boy was I surprised. The only reason I rented it was because I am a big Devon Sawa fan. He is one of the best actors in the business. Doesn't hurt that he's hot too, but I just think all of the acting in this film was excellent. If you are like me, and like the Devon Sawa looks and acting, check out Final Destination and Idle Hands. Both very well done by him as well. I give this film a 10/10. (which doesn't happen often with me!)

Idle Hands (1999)
10/10
Why does everyone hate this?

This has got to be on of the funniest movies I have ever seen. And I honestly can't say why. The plot was stupid, the jokes were dumb, and it was kind of disgusting. But I was laughing out loud after the first 10 minutes. And I couldn't stop. I honestly can't say why I found this so funny, and such a great movie, but it was. 10/10 and **** out of ****.

Dark Angel (2000–2002)
Not as good as the X-Files, but then what is?
24 May 2001
I started watching this show halfway through the season, and I am impressed. Jessica Alba's acting skills progress with each episode, and I am liking this show more and more. Micheal Weatherly is a very good actor with talent to spare. (doesn't hurt that he's cute too) I hope this show goes on for a long time. I'm sure they will think of plenty more plots for episodes to come. I like this show almost as much as the X-Files. It is superbly made. I give Dark Angel a 9 out of 10.

Well...........

Warning: Spoilers
(possible spoilers) I thought that this movie would be really good judging by the previews. But they were misleading. I thought it was going to be more of a romance between Matt Damon and Penelope Cruz. I was wrong. The scenery was beautiful, but the acting sure wasn't. Hard as they may have tried, Damon and Cruz didn't have any chemistry. The only acting I was really impressed with was that of Lucas Black as Blevins. When they took him out and shot him, I cried. But throughout most of the rest of the movie, I was bored, confused, and wondering why I wasted $3.75 at Blockbuster when I could have rented something good and worth my time. All in all, a 4 out of 10.

Sleepy Hollow (1999)
Could be better, could be worse
25 April 2001
Warning: Spoilers
(possible spoilers) The first thing that I think of when I think of Sleepy Hollow, is BLOOD, BLOOD, BLOOD!!!!!!!!! I will never have a problem seeing decapitations again.

I had a hard time getting, "attatched" to the characters. For example, when Magistrate Philipse was decapitated, I laughed. When Brom Van Brunt was cut in half, I laughed. I laughed when most things happened that weren't supposed to be funny, and things that should have been funny, confused or bored me.

I thought the special effects were fairly well done. If possible, see this on DVD, and watch the special features. It is very interesting learning how they did everything, like make the prosthetic heads and train the horses, etc.

I would have liked there to be a little more explanation in the plot. I was never entirely sure what "5 victims, 4 graves" added up to, but its possible that it went in one ear and out the other. I also didn't completely understand the flashbacks that Ichabod had (with his mother) but I won't drag on that to much.

Overall, I enjoyed this film. Even though I laughed alot more than I screamed, I was entertained, and that is the purpose of any movie.

Good Thriller
9 April 2001
Warning: Spoilers
(spoilers)

I am surprised to see all of the negative comments posted about this film. I thought it was great. Excellent acting by all cast members. Kim Basinger did a great job as Maggie, a single woman left to raise a child belonging to her sister. The little girl who played Cody was outstanding. You don't see that kind of genuine talent in most actors and actresses that age. Rufus Sewell was also good in this movie. My favorite performance was the brief apperance of Christina Ricci, as Cheri. I was in total shock when she was killed in the subway. Even though it was all special effects, the part where they beat her with crowbars and kicked her was so real it made me shake. And when her head rolled off, that looked more real than any other decapitations that I've seen in other movies.

I think this movie is well worth the money to rent or buy. Everyone should see it at least once.

Full House (1987–1995)
So not funny!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
3 April 2001
I used to watch this show when I was little and loved it. Now, it sucks. I don't know why I liked it so much. The characters were bad and the actors stunk. I watched the reruns a few times. Oh my god!!!!!! I actually only like the last season. Stephanie was getting out of her gay little jokes phase, and Michelle was beginning to be a normal person, and not a brat who got everything. Danny needed to get over himself. He had no life other than rambling and cleaning. Jesse and Joey needed to MOVE OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Becky was ok, but she and Jesse needed to buy their own house, and stop mooching off of Danny and his family. I don't think that they ever contributed to the household, by buying food or anything. Joey had no job for a while, and he didn't offer to do anything either. DJ was ok too, but she was a little too perfect. So I pretty much can't understand why people think that this show is so adorable. The only episode where I even cracked a smile was the one where we found out Jesse's real name. Don't watch this. Its not good.
