The Danish Girl (2015)
It disappointed me...
Half of the film is great, beautiful Europe natural view, pretty paintings. But another half seems like a totally different film. At least add some ups and downs ok?
Gone Girl (2014)
_
I love David Fincher!!! He really really directed so well. Ben is attractive. The whole film had no single word useless. It is a little bit long, but I didn't find it boring. Marriage is something no one can define it. Both need to endure. But why not get divorced once after they think it was broken? It must be the best way to solve this problem. Too much endurance made the tragedy.
La leggenda del pianista sull'oceano (1998)
His unique choice, his different life
I don't know why but just can't stop crying. 1900 adhered to what he loved, for his whole life. He made the last choice himself. No one should feel sorry for him, at least he enjoyed everything, and he deserved everything. He was born in the sea, belonged to the sea, and should die in the sea. That's his life, maybe a little different from ours, but should also be highly respected. He, his piano, his ship, how beautiful.
The Pianist (2002)
Great
I haven't seen such a great war movie for a long time. Not over cruel, not over unrealistic. Just at the suitable degree. The pianist was saved by a German, at last, the pianist became famous, that German dead. What an insinuate story.
Sense and Sensibility (1995)
Openness then endurance, endurance then eruption
Imo, all films based on Jane's story are better than Jane's writing. I found a little bit boring while reading her book. But the film is different. Color and style, ummm, to be honest, I didn't enjoy at all. But true love is what I enjoy the most. He left the room after saying"thank you"; he came without hope but saw her can't help crying.....That's the point made me sad.
The Big Short (2015)
Poor genius
I can't understand some parts of the film, cus I'm not American, haven't experienced it, and not that interested in American's history. But I could definitely say, it is a masterpiece. Genius at that time were so poor. They tried to use their talent to make money for themselves, at the same time, tried to help people. People were just numb. They didn't care about their money, their lives. And when they lost everything, what they could do was crying, they did so in the end actually. 2008, what a crazy year. Leaders did nothing to help, they made it happen.
Black Swan (2010)
Plz change a more pleasant way to tell this story
I must say, it is meaningful, BUT too violent. It should be something full of music & dance, not like this, full of blood. Natalie's so beautiful, her act was also fantastic.
V for Vendetta (2005)
Reality
When some political system can't show the justice, the whole country needs someone to stand out. The Gotham City has Joker, UK has V, but now, no one. V for Vendetta! Justice belongs to people!!! It's a fantastic film, at the same time, heartbreaking reality.
The Mule (2018)
Hope this is not Clint's last Movie
Earl loves family, from the beginning to the end, but no one realized it. Who don't love his family? Earl just used his own special way to love. He tried his best to make money for his family. What a sad story. In the end maybe Earl wanted a normal life, in the wrong place. He loves his family like he loves flowers. // I hope this is not Clint's last movie. God, give him a super long life and let him direct/act more plz!
Gone Baby Gone (2007)
Justice
How could someone made that bad choice like Patrick..... What was he thinking about??? Justice should be something right! Not something about the law! Casey's act surprised me. So attractive.
The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (2008)
How could we understand to cherish if there is no loss?
To be honest, I don't like the film at all (to dark, to long), but I was moved by it. The story is so touching! One was growing older, one was growing younger, they were so poor, at the same time, they were lucky. At least the were together at the right time.
Ah fei jing juen (1990)
Happy birthday Leslie
2020/9/12 Hope everything is right in the heaven. Happy 64th birthday. This is my favorite Wang's movie and my favorite Leslie's movie. The whole story is a round, it's endless. Dream and everything... will always come back.
A Perfect World (1993)
Childhood
A bad guy's good action is more worthy to cherish than a good guy's good action. Children need childhood, meanwhile, some parents are trying their best to destroy their children's happiness. No one can change this increasing situation, but we can try, like Butch to Buzz, share happiness with a strange child.
The Boy in the Striped Pajamas (2008)
Pure friendship
I was totally moved at the end of the movie. Judge the World War Two from a child's view, it seems even more cruel. Broun became the boy in the striped pyjamas too. He didn't know what's waiting for him, happiness or death? He just wanted to help his friend. Friendship made it.
Forrest Gump (1994)
" We" are something amazing
Well, it inspired me indeed. But I feel like it has something missing. I make my own destiny, I am the one who define myself. If each have a destiny or if we are just floating around accidentally, like on a breeze? I don't need to find out. Just live the way I like.
Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw (2019)
What the hell is the story talking about???
I just can't understand the story. Ridiculous. It's was made for making money huh?
The Shawshank Redemption (1994)
Hope is a good thing.
Never lose hope, because it's around you all the time. Even when you feel desperate. Hope will find you and encourage you to keep on living. I love that "warm place with no memory".
"Get busy living or get busy dying."
"Rehabilitated? I don't have any idea what that means. To me it's just a made-up word, a politician's word."
"Remember hope is a good thing."
Love, Simon (2018)
?
How can Simon find the one he loves and the one who loves he so easy... I've been waiting for a moment on the Ferris wheel like Simon and Blue for years.
Joker (2019)
Joker
Nobody cares how joker feels, like nobody cares about me. Joaquin Phoenix worth it.
Gisaengchung (2019)
Parasite in Asia
The story is very common in Asia. But I just don't like how everything looks. So dark and scary. A good film to show the real world, but not a good film to enjoy.
Sex Education (2019)
Sex, yeah!
Very real, so that I once thought they are my stories! ( I can learn a lot about sex. ) Also it made me laugh all the time.
Little Women (2019)
Just so so
A little bit difficult to understand at the beginning, and I can't go into the story. The colors are so nice. That's the only part I enjoy.
Call Me by Your Name (2017)
Love is love
It was the best Pride movie I've ever watched. Love it,Not only the story, but also everything. I can't believe it was a film four years ago. Elio & Oliver...Nothing's more meaningful than a six-week memory. How could Oliver forgot the "call me by your name" game? I would remember it in my whole life.
Chun gwong ja sit (1997)
Sad love story
I am a lover of HE.The ending made me so sad. They should be together, and they had to be. They are one. Not Baorong He and Jiahui Lee. Maybe they are still kids, or they have kids characters. They are too wayward. In the end, people who stood under the fall should be "them", not only Jiahui Lee. It would perfect if the last scene was they hugging and kissing together..And this is Happy Together.(I love Leslie.Miss him so much)
A Streetcar Named Desire (1951)
I just don't know how to enjoy it
The story is too old...I found it so weird to watch this film. It's black and white...I can't even tell it's morning or night! But maybe I can't blame it for its outmoded. Cus it was filmed almost 70 years ago! I'm sure it was enjoyed by lots of people at that time.(Marlon Brando was so attractive that I can't move my eyes from him, even one second!!!)
