Cabin Fever (2002)
This Movie is Good
Eli Roth's Cabin Fever is a great horror movie. I've heard mixed reviews about this film, some people have said that it sucked badly and other people said they liked it. First off to the people who do not like this movie go don't you have anything better to do than to trash a movie you wish was yours. This is an old school horror movie updated with today's effects. The fact that the characters are in a cabin practically in the middle of nowhere makes it even better. The movie was made with 1.5 million dollars and it made back 21 million dollars. That's gotta say something. Cabin Fever is great movie with a good script by Eli Roth. The scene with the girl shaving her leg still freaks me out. And I don't even own the DVD! Roth's next film Hostel is going to be sick!
Haute tension (2003)
Deserves Better
High Tension is a great film that deserved better when it was released this past June. The story was simple, Marie and Alex are friends and they're going to Alex's parents house to study for exams. Simple right? well the movie does a complete 180 when a guy show's up at the door and kill's Alex's father. From that point on the movie is one violent boldest to the end. Alexandre Aja vision is fantastic, the acting is great, and the special effects are awesome. Also, what makes the movie so good is where it takes place, it takes place practically in the middle of nowhere, so it gives you a sense of terror. What angered me off was the response the movie received when was released in America. This movie has cult status written all over it. Go see it. 10/10
Saw II (2005)
The Wait is Over
last year i went to go see "Saw" a horror movie that was the best that i have seen in a long time. now a year later i have just finished seeing "Saw 2" and i have to say, well done!. the sequel is on par with the original, the story is awesome, and the acting is just right. to-bin Bell who returns to play jigsaw is given more screen time and it helps the story move along. as for the people who were trapped in the house they were all o.k. i guess. i didn't like any of them except for the black guy. the ending is what makes everything come full circle, if you thought the ending for the first saw was unbelievable well then you have to see this one. last thing, a lot more blood in this one, and i mean a lot. oh yes there will be blood.

Return of the Living Dead: Necropolis (2005)
silly kids zombies can kill you
I just saw ROTLD 4: Necropolis and I have to say if your a fan of the series, stay away from this one. The Sci-Fi channel premiered the movie tonight along with it's sequel "rave from the grave". Where to start, first off the actors suck, all of them, even peter coyote was bad. The script was unbelievable and the characters were all the same type of characters you'd expect in a low budget horror movie. The way the movie started looked promising but right when it got into the story about the teens looking for their friend, that's where it went all down hill. There were only two things that pleased me during the movie, the violence/gore was good. It wasn't anything like you see in a big budget horror movie, but it was okay. The second was that the little brother died. Yes somebody finally had the guts to kill a younger sibling. Anyway stay away from this one.
Transporter 2 (2005)
The Bset in The Business is Back!
I just saw The Transporter 2 today and I gotta say it wasn't that bad. In the world of sequels you would expect the sequel to be bad if not worse than the first but the transporter 2 doesn't fall into the category. Jason Statham is back as Frank Martin, a ex-special forces soldier who specializes in moving "certain"goods from here to there. No questions asked. We already know this from the first film. The sequel picks up with frank now Miami working as a chauffeur for a wealthy couple. When the couples son gets kidnapped it's up to frank to rescue the boy. The film moves fast which is good. The fight sequences are way better than the first and the car chases are as always good. This movie isn't for people who don't have a taste for action. 9 out of 10
Sin City (2005)
Comic Book Fans Rejoice, We Have A Winner!!!!
Frank Miller and Robert Rodriguez, what a combination. This is one the best comic book adaptations I have ever seen. It falls right in line with Richard Donner's Superman and Tim Burton's Batman 1 & 2. The film itself is simply just amazing. The look of it really gives it that comic book feel. The cast is perfect, Bruce Willis, Mickey Rourke, and Clive Owen are great as the three main leads. When you see the movie and read through one of the sin city graphic novels it looks like the pages were literally ripped from the book an put into the movie. Being a comic book fan myself i can truly say that Rodrique stayed true to the material. The movie was recently released on DVD I suggest that everyone goes out and rent it. Also if you can't wait for the sequel go out and read the sin city graphic novels. This movie was fantastic 10 out of 10!
Leatherface: Texas Chainsaw Massacre III (1990)
TCM3 is good on it's own.
The second sequel to TCM is good. Not as good as TCM2 but good as it's own movie. There were a lot of thing's that I didn't understand in the movie. First off why is Leatherface alive? Didn't Dennis Hopper stick a chainsaw in his gut in TCM2. Whatever happened to Viggo Mortensen's character? and was that little girl really Leatherface's daughter? The movie is okay, it could have been better if there weren't that many plot holes. The music is great, perfect for early 90's horror movies. Ken Foree is great as the survivalist Bonny. The chainsaw in the movie is little over top. The design and the fact that it says "the saw is family" is just not cool. 8 out of 10.
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 (1986)
Dennis Hopper Kick's Ass In TCM2
Dennis Hopper's character of Lieutenant "Lefty" Enright Is awesome. Hopper play's the uncle of sally and franklin from the first. The movie is set 14 years after the first and Leatherface and his family have been going strong ever since. It seems that over the past 14 years there have been reports of "CHAINSAW" incidents but of course the local police don't pay no mind to that. The only person who knows the truth is yes you guessed it Dennis Hooper. Tobe Hopper is back as director for this sequel and it works. One of the final scenes of the movie has Hopper's character go head to head with Leatherface, chainsaw to chainsaw. Great sequel to the best horror movie ever. 10 out of 10.
The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (1974)
The Greates Horror Film I Have Ever Seen
I recently saw this movie for the first time and this is the greatest horror movie ever made. Tobe Hopper's direction is fantastic and the acting is great. The fact the movie takes place in the middle of nowhere in Texas just adds to the horror of it. """WARNING""" SPOILERS AHEAD. The one thing that I didn't like was that franklin the brother had to die. He was in a freaking wheelchair for Christ sake. This movie has everything, gore, screams, and crazing cannibalistic Texas thats worth an hour and 23 minutes of your time. please if you haven't seen it go out and rent like i did. you'll be glad you did. I rate this movie 10 out of 10.
