On August 9, 1969, a pregnant Sharon Tate and four other people were murdered by members of the "Manson family". Sharon Tate's unborn baby boy (who died with her) was to be named Paul Richard Polanski. She was engaged to celebrity hairstylist Jay Sebring from 1966-1967. She broke off the engagement to marry Roman Polanski, but they remained good friends. Sebring was a house guest on the night that four of Charles Manson's minions broke into the house, and murdered Sharon, Jay, Abigail "Gibby" Folger, Voytek Frykowski, and Steven Parent. Susan Atkins used a towel to write 'Pig' on the front door in Sharon's blood before throwing it on Jay's head and fleeing the house with her accomplices. Had enormous brown eyes and a dazzling smile. At the time of her death, she was known as one of the most beautiful women in Hollywood.

Was unfortunately killed on the early morning hours of July 23, 1982 in a tragic, freak accident on the set of Twilight Zone: The Movie (1983) while filming a scene involving a helicopter which crashed right on top of him and two young children.

On November 27, 1981, Natalie invited Christopher Walken to join herself, Robert Wagner, and boat captain Dennis Davern on a boat trip to Catalina Island. The following day, they dined at a restaurant on Catalina where Natalie became very intoxicated. That night, the four of them returned to their yacht, the "Splendor". The rest is a mystery, and the stories about how she ended up in the water have been conflicting. On the morning of Sunday, November 29th, 1981, her body was found floating face down in the ocean. Rumors of foul play immediately surfaced, but no charges were filed and her death was declared an accidental drowning. She was 43 years old.

Duncan's life was riddled with tragedy. In 1913, at the height of her fame, her two young children died when their driverless car rolled into the Seine River in Paris. A later baby was stillborn. When Duncan did at last wed, the marriage was short-lived and ended in separation, whereupon her husband killed himself. Isadora herself died in a freak auto accident only two years later. Fond of wearing long, flowing scarves, Duncan died when one accidentally entangled in the rear wheel of a Bugatti convertible, throwing her forcibly from the vehicle and strangling her.

Isadora Duncan died on September 14, 1927, in Nice, France. She was killed by her long neck scarf caught in the wheel of an open automobile in which she was a passenger. She was pulled from the car and dragged before the driver could stop. Duncan was cremated and her ashes were laid in the Père Lachaise Cemetery in Paris, France.

Brandon died at the age of 28 on the set of The Crow (1994). The film crew shot a scene in which it was decided to use a gun without consent from the weapons coordinator, who had been sent home early that night. They handed Michael Massee the gun loaded with full power blanks and shot the scene, unaware a bullet head from an inert round had accidentally been lodged in the barrel. Even though the gun was pointed away from Lee, the force from the blank curved the flight of the bullet head and it shattered his spinal cord. The crew only noticed when Lee was slow getting up. The doctors worked desperately for five hours, but it was no use. After his spinal cord was shattered, he had no chance of survival. He was pronounced dead at 1:04 P.M. the next day.

On September 18, 1932, after a night of drinking and feeling depressed, she climbed the 50 foot "H" on the Hollywood sign (then named Hollywoodland, a real estate development) and dived head first onto the ground killing herself instantly. Peg was only 24 years old and today is best known for her suicide rather than for her acting skills.

After his parents were killed by bombing in WWII in Germany, Jochen was moved to his grandparents in Austria when he was a boy. He started his racing career in Austria, and honed his skills throughout the European community, working through the lesser Formula ranks before entering Formula 1 in 1964. Rindt was always a promising racer and proved his worth by winning against established stars in the Formula 2 ranks, but could never break through to victory lane in Formula 1 until his fifth full season when he won his first race at Watkins Glen, N.Y. (1969 U.S. Grand Prix). He was one of the favorites for the 1970 championship and he didn't disappoint, winning five races, four straight at one point. He was in the lead for the world title and had promised his wife Nina that he would retire if he won the championship, however he was killed during practice for the Italian Grand Prix. Ironically, he had built up such a huge lead in the championship that nobody could accumulate enough points to pass him and Rindt was declared the world's first (and so far) posthumous champion

Dean, driving his Porsche Spyder race car, collided with another car while on the road near Cholame, California on September 30, 1955. He had received a speeding ticket just two hours before. James Dean was killed almost immediately from the impact from a broken neck. He was 24. His very brief career, violent death and highly publicized funeral transformed him into a cult object of apparently timeless fascination.

On 6th February 1998 at 4.40PM, a bus, driving too fast, ran into his Mitsubishi Pajero as he was going out of a parking lot, and unfortunately he died. Died from severe injuries after a collision with a bus near Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic (6 February 1998). As his last hit "Out of the Dark" contains the line "Do I have to die to live?", rumors spread that he knew he was going to die (1998).

An actress best known for her death, her controversial demise occurred the day after being discovered in a hotel bedroom during a party that involved a large amount of alcohol consumption. Actor Roscoe "Fatty" Arbuckle was the last person seen with Rappe before she was found seriously injured. After her death, Arbuckle went through a murder trial and retrials before being found not guilty. Silent comedian Fatty Arbuckle’s career was ruined by rumours he raped actress Virginia Rappe to death with an ice dildo. Arbuckle's career never recovered from the scandal.

Died in his sleep on June 29, 1933 , at age 46, the night after he signed the contract with WARNER BROS.

August 4, 1962 Marilyn Monroe's day began with threatening phone calls. Dr. Ralph Greenson, Marilyn Monroe's physician, came over the following day and quoted later in a document "felt it was possible that Marilyn Monroe had felt rejected by some of the people she had been close to". Apart from being upset that her publicist slept too long, she seemed fine. Pat Newcombe, who had stayed the previous night at Marilyn's house, left in the early evening as did Greenson who had a dinner date. Marilyn was upset he couldn't stay, and around 7:30pm she telephoned him while he was to tell him that her second husband's son had called him. Peter Lawford also called Marilyn, inviting her to dinner, but she declined. Lawford later said her speech was slurred. As the dark and depressing evening for Marilyn wore on there were other phone calls, including one from Jose Belanos, who said he thought she sounded fine. According to the funeral directors, Marilyn died sometime between 9:30pm and 11:30pm.

In Biloxi, Mississippi, for an engagement at the Gus Stevens Supper Club, Mansfield stayed at the Cabana Courtyard Apartments near the club. After an evening appearance on June 28, 1967, Mansfield, her lover Sam Brody, their driver, Ronnie Harrison, with three of her children – Miklós, Zoltán and Mariska – set out in Stevens' 1966 Buick Electra 225. They were headed for New Orleans, where Mansfield was scheduled to appear for an early-morning television interview. On June 29 at approximately 2:25am, on U.S. Highway 90, east of the Rigolets Bridge, the car crashed into the rear of a tractor-trailer that had slowed behind another truck that was spraying mosquito fogger. The car struck the rear of the trailer and went under it. The three adults in the front seat were killed instantly; the children, in the rear, survived with minor injuries.[314]

Reports that Mansfield was decapitated are untrue, although she suffered severe head trauma.[315] The urban legend was spawned by the appearance in police photographs of a crashed car with its top virtually sheared off, and what resembled a blonde-haired head tangled in the car's smashed windshield. However, this was probably either a wig Mansfield was wearing or her actual hair and scalp.[316] The death certificate stated that the immediate cause of Mansfield's death was a "crushed skull with avulsion of cranium and brain".

After a short marriage to her former secretary Daniel Biasini, being the father of her daughter Sarah Biasini, she suffered the hardest blow of her life when her son was impaled on a fence in 1981. She never managed to recover from this loss and died on 29 May 1982 in Paris. Although it was suggested she committed suicide caused by an overdose of sleeping pills, she was declared to have died from cardiac arrest.

On March 5, 1982, John Belushi was found dead in his hotel room at the age of 33. The local coroner gave the cause of death as a lethal injection of cocaine and heroin. Several years later, John's drug dealing/drug user companion during his final weeks, Cathy Smith, was tried and sentenced to three years in prison for supplying John with the drugs. Close friend James Taylor sang "That Lonesome Road" at a memorial service at Martha's Vineyard cemetery where John was buried.

On June 4, 2009, David Carradine was found dead in his room at the Swissôtel Nai Lert Park Hotel on Wireless Road, near Sukhumvit Road, in central Bangkok, Thailand. He was in Bangkok to shoot his latest film, Stretch. A police official said that Carradine was found hanging by a rope naked in the room's closet, causing immediate speculation that his death was suicide. However, reported evidence suggested that his death was the result of autoerotic asphyxiation. Two autopsies were conducted and concluded that the death was not a suicide. The cause of death became widely accepted as "accidental asphyxiation".

On September 13, 1982, while driving with her daughter, Stéphanie, to Monaco from their country home, Roc Agel, on the French side of the border, Princess Grace suffered a stroke, which caused her to drive her Rover off the serpentine road down a mountainside. Grace was pulled alive from the wreckage, but had suffered serious injuries and was unconscious. She died the following day at the Monaco Hospital (renamed Centre Hospitalier Princesse Grace – "The Princess Grace Hospital Centre" in English — in 1985), having never regained consciousness; she was 52 years old. It was initially reported that Princess Stéphanie suffered only minor bruising, although it later emerged that she had suffered a serious cervical fracture.

Dorothy Stratten's story was brief, glorious and tragic. She was born Dorothy Ruth Hoogstraten on February 28, 1960 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. She grew up in a rough neighborhood in Vancouver, but kept out of trouble and went through the motions of school. While not a beauty as a child, nor early teen, Stratten came into her own out of high school and attracted the attention of Paul Snider, a promoter and wannabe star. He started dating her and after seeing an advertisement for Playboy's 25th Anniversary Playmate search in 1978, convinced her to pose for photos. Playboy saw the potential in Stratten and flew her out to Los Angeles, California, where she became a candidate. Although she lost out to Candy Loving, Stratten was made a Playmate in the August 1979 issue of Playboy. Soon after, she was pressured into marrying Snider, who had a Svengali-like influence on her.

After her centerfold came out, Stratten found work in a few movies, notably Americathon (1979) and Skatetown, U.S.A. (1979), as well as being the object of Richard Dawson's affection in an ABC-TV special shot at the Playboy mansion. Clearly, her star was on the rise. In 1980, it was revealed that Stratten would be tabbed as the Playmate of the Year by Playboy publisher and founder Hugh M. Hefner. While this was one of the crowning achievements of her career, things were not going well in her marriage to Snider. He bothered her on the set of the movie Galaxina (1980) and when Snider found out she was developing more than a friendly relationship with director Peter Bogdanovich, Snider grew increasingly frustrated.

After a separation, Snider bought a shotgun and talked Stratten into coming to the apartment they used to share in West Los Angeles. Snider tied her up, sexually assaulted her and put the shotgun next to her face and pulled the trigger. Snider then turned the shotgun on himself to complete the murder-suicide. Since her death, Stratten has become something of a minor cult fixture, and has had two (one a television) movies, a song, and a couple of books written about her. The last movie she was in, They All Laughed (1981), was released after her death.

He died of a heart attack in a bar after downing three bottles of Captain Morgan's Jamaica rum, eight bottles of German beer, numerous doubles of Famous Grouse whiskey and Hennessy cognac, and beating five much younger Royal Navy sailors at arm-wrestling. His bar bill for that final lunch time totaled 270 Maltese lira, almost £450, about $594.72.

Ledger was found dead on January 22, 2008 in his apartment in the Manhattan neighborhood of SoHo, with a bottle of prescription sleeping pills nearby. It was concluded weeks later that he died of an accidental overdose of prescription drugs that included painkillers, sleeping pills and anti-anxiety medication. After his death he received more than 30 posthumous awards for his portrayal as the psychopathic clown prince of crime in The Dark Knight (2008) (including the Oscar, SAG, BAFTA, and Golden Globe)

At 08:00 (16:00 GMT) on December 20, 2009, the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to "a medical request" at the Los Angeles home Murphy and Monjack shared. She had apparently collapsed in a bathroom. Firefighters attempted to resuscitate Murphy on the scene. She was transported to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead on arrival at 10:04 after going into cardiac arrest. Shortly after her death, Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter told the Associated Press: "It appears to be natural." An autopsy was performed the day after she died. Her death certificate listed the cause of death as "deferred". On February 4, 2010, the Los Angeles County coroner stated that the primary cause of Murphy's death was pneumonia, with secondary factors of iron-deficiency anemia and multiple drug intoxication...

He died at age 23 (drug-induced heart failure) outside the Viper Room, Johnny Depp's Los Angeles club.

On August 25, 2001, after filming the video, Aaliyah and about 9-11 of her entourage took off from Marsh Harbour airport at 6:50pm EDT in a small Cessna 404 en route to Opa-Locka, Florida. A few minutes after take-off, the plane crashed about 200 feet from the runaway killing Aaliyah and many others instantly. Four passnegers were pulled alive from the wreckage, and one later died at a hospital in Nassau. Aaliyah was only 22 years old.

On December 18th, 1997, he died from a heroin (opiate) and cocaine overdose in his apartment in Chicago, where his body was found by his brother John the next day. Chris' weight of 296 pounds was a contributing factor to his death, but according to his autopsy the alcohol, marijuana and Prozac that was also found in his body, were not.

In February of 1983, she went to her parents' house to sort through some old clothes she kept there when she collapsed in a walk-in closet from cardiac arrest. She was only 32. Doctors revealed that her long battle with anorexia nervosa had stressed her heart to the breaking point.

Lennon was murdered by Mark David Chapman, a onetime Beatles fan angry and jealous over John's ongoing career.

In March 2009, she died suddenly, after falling and receiving a head injury whilst skiing in Mont Tremblant, Quebec, Canada.

He died of a massive heart attack, caused by shellfish food poisoning, while filming Yellowbeard (1983) in Mexico City, on December 2, 1982... he was only 49.

He died in New York attending to the premiere of his last film. He collapsed on August 15, 1926 in his hotel and died after an operation, which led to an infection on August 23rd.

Well liked by all who knew her, Dominique seemed to be at the top of the world. Then, at a party she met John Thomas Sweeney, the chef at popular LA nightspot Ma Maison. The two began a relationship, which turned stormy. Sweeney was uncontrollable and abusive (so abusive that Dominique did not need makeup to play the role of an abuse victim on Hill Street Blues (1981)). Dominique ended the relationship on October 30, 1982. That same night, a distraught Sweeney raced to her house, where she and actor David Packer were rehearsing a scene from V: The Final Battle (1984), dragged her outside, and strangled her, leaving her brain dead. Five days later, she was removed from life support and died, cutting short a brilliant career and leaving behind scores of shocked and angry loved ones.

In January 1987, Heather began to have flu-like symptoms and her legs and feet swelled. She was taken to Kaiser Hospital, and they confirmed it was only the flu, but when symptoms continued, they diagnosed her as having Crohn's Disease, a chronic inflammation of the intestine. She was on medication throughout the filming of her next project, Poltergeist III (1988), and her cheeks were puffy in some scenes. She never complained during filming and did not appear sick to fellow cast members. When filming was completed in June, Heather and her family went on a road trip from Chicago, to New Orleans, to Orlando and all the way back to Lakeside where they lived at the time. Heather was well until January 31, 1988, Super Bowl Sunday. She was unable to keep anything in her stomach and crawled into bed with her parents that night, saying that she didn't feel well. The next morning, February 1, sitting at the breakfast table, she couldn't swallow her toast or Gatorade. Her mother noticed ...

According to the Los Angeles County Coroner's autopsy report, Holden was alone and intoxicated in his apartment in Santa Monica, California on November 12, 1981, when he slipped on a rug, severely lacerated his forehead on a teak bedside table, and bled to death. Evidence suggests he was conscious for at least half an hour after the fall. It is probable that he may not have realized the severity of the injury and did not summon aid, or was unable to call for help. His body was found four days later. (Bennett, Bruce. Shot to death by an acquaintance in Mission Hills, California, during an argument over $50 that Switzer felt the acquaintance owed him. The acquaintance pleaded self-defense, and the judge ruled the death "justifiable homicide." [Source: "The Hollywood Death Book," James Robert Parish, 1992.].

In 1976, Cassidy was living alone in an apartment in West Hollywood. In the early morning hours of December 12, 1976, he lit a cigarette and fell asleep or passed out on a couch, which then caught fire, and the flames spread throughout the apartment. His body was found on the floor, as if he had been trying to crawl to the sliding glass doors but was overcome by smoke inhalation.[1] He was officially identified by the signet ring he wore, bearing the Cassidy family coat of arms.[2] He had had six of these rings made (one each for his four sons, one for his brother, and one for himself) while researching his family history. Coincidentally, in 1971 he had appeared in an episode of Night Gallery, in which his character becomes capable of out-of-body activity, and unintentionally kills himself as he sleeps.

On May 28th, 1998, Phil was shot to death while sleeping in his Encino, California home by his wife, Brynn Hartman. Brynn left the house and later came back with a friend to show him Phil's body. When her friend went to call 911, Brynn locked herself in the bedroom with Phil's lifeless body and shot herself. It was later discovered by the coroner that Brynn had alcohol, cocaine, and the antidepressant, Zoloft, in her system. They leave behind two children, Sean Edward (b. 1988) and Birgen (b. 1992).

Phil and Brynn's bodies were cremated and spread upon Catalina Island, just off the coast of California, on June 4, 1998. Phil had specifically stated in his will that he wanted the ashes spread on Catalina Island because it was his favorite holiday getaway as he was an avid boater, surfer and general lover of the sea.

While filming James Bond 007 - Man lebt nur zweimal (1967), Johnny was leaning out of a helicopter to get a better shot. Another helicopter was caught in a gust of wind and was blown closer. The rotor blade cut Johnny's leg which had to be amputated.

Three years later, he was filming Der böse Trick (1970) over the Gulf of Mexico when another plane passed close by. He was sucked out of the open doorway and fell 2,000 feet to his death. He had always refused to wear a safety harness and with his artificial leg wasn't as agile as he used to be.

Some have speculated he had a death wish.

A stingray barbed Steve Irwin’s heart in 2006 while he was underwater filming the nature documentary.

However, on October 12th, 1984 after a long and draining day's shooting on the set of Mode, Models und Intrigen: Pilot (1984), Hexum became bored with the extensive delays and jokingly put a prop .44 magnum revolver to his temple and pulled the trigger. The gun fired, and the wadding from the blank cartridge shattered his skull, whereupon the mortally injured Hexum was rushed via ambulance to hospital to undergo extensive surgery. Despite five hours of work, the chief surgeon, Dr. David Ditsworth, described the damage to Hexum's brain as life-ending. One week later, on October 18th, he was taken off life support and pronounced dead. However, Hexum's commitment to organ donation meant five other lives were assisted or saved with organs harvested from him. The youthful & charming Hexum was dead at only 26 years of age.

On the evening of June 5, Skoff landed in Hamburg. According to the police investigation files, he met the dominatrix Roberta and the prostitute Gabi at the airport. They went to a sadomasochistic party together, but soon moved on. They found a somewhat more private setting in an old sports studio on Hammer Steindamm.

The dominatrix Roberta, who breaks her silence in the NDR interview after many years, reports in detail on the following night. They would have dressed Skoff in women’s clothing and put pins on him. “I don’t think he knew exactly what his fetish was,” she says. “It was just about the fact that there was a woman or several women. It doesn’t matter. And he uses drugs and just has this kick.”

Cocaine “in larger quantities”

cocaine, she says. “In larger quantities. Well, I found a lot.” Sometime during the night he suffered an epileptic seizure. “He said, ‘Oh shit’ and he took it to heart. And then he collapsed.” In hindsight, Roberta says, at some point she probably should have said, “Now it’s over.” The fact that she didn’t do it haunts her to this day. The ambulance came, took Skoff to the hospital. Doctors fought for Skoff’s life for almost two days. He did not make it. The family was told that Skoff had died of a heart attack, says his half-brother Bernhard Boschitz. The police nonetheless started an investigation.

In the end, the files said: “Mr. Skoff died very likely as a result of acute cocaine intoxication.” Examination of the hair revealed that Skoff “had abused cocaine extensively in the months leading up to his death.” There are no indications of third-party negligence.

His half-brother still has a hard time believing that. “I think this ability, which I always envied him, of not being afraid of anything or anyone,” he says, “I think that ultimately became his undoing.”

It was June 6, 2008, around 12:30 a.m. the emergency services called. A prostitute explained that Horst Skoff collapsed in a former gym after consuming narcotics. Skoff was resuscitated on site and died in hospital a day later. Due to the dubious circumstances and injuries to the face, third-party negligence in the death could not initially be ruled out. This is what the investigative files from back then show.

Skoff was a tennis star in Austria. He was only 39 years old. The official cause of death was later heart failure. But for some of his companions, his death remains inexplicable. Unanswered questions left room for speculation – the family still doesn’t rule out a murder.

The promising beauty was signed by Fox Studios in 1923 and began work on a new picture The Warrens of Virginia (1924). Nearing the completion of the film, Martha had just finished a scene and was returning to her automobile when a passerby lit a cigarette and accidentally flicked the match into the automobile. Engulfed in flames, co-star Wilfred Lytell managed to throw his coat around her and extinguish the fire, but it was too late. She died the next day of severe burns at age 24.

Died at the outset of the WWF pay-per-view "Over the Edge", which was held at Kemper Arena. Fell 70 feet down from a cable that was supposed to lower him to the ring and hit his head on a turnbuckle; later died at the hospital.

He was killed early in the production of the TV film Weltkrieg III (1982) in a helicopter accident in Oregon. He had just returned from filming aerial shots, his helicopter landing in the parking lot of the Timberline lodge on Mt. Hood (the exteriors location from Shining (1980)). Preoccupied with his work, he inadvertently turned the wrong way upon getting out of the helicopter, walking directly into the rear rotor blade; he died of severe head and shoulder injuries after emergency surgery 60 miles away in Portland. Astonishingly, filming resumed the very next day with a new director.

Testimony at the coroner's inquest stated that Jack Budlong, dressed as a confederate cavalryman was bucked off his horse and thrown 15 to 20 feet, landing on his saber, penetrating his back and abdomen. He was taken from the film location at Calabasas to a Los Angeles hospital, where he died.

Died of self-inflicted gunshot wound. Had been diagnosed with terminal cancer.

On February 2, 2014, Philip Seymour Hoffman was found dead in an apartment in Greenwich village, New York. Investigators found Hoffman with a syringe in his arm and two open envelopes of heroin next to him. Mr. Hoffman was long known to struggle with addiction. In 2006, he said in an interview with "60 Minutes" that he had given up drugs and alcohol many years earlier, when he was age 22. In 2013, he checked into a rehabilitation program for about 10 days after a reliance on prescription pills resulted in his briefly turning again to heroin.

DAUGHTER OF WHITNEY HOUSTON

On January 31, 2015, Gordon and a friend found Brown face down in a bathtub in her Georgia home. Gordon began CPR until emergency medical services personnel arrived. According to a police spokeswoman, Brown was alive and breathing after being transported to North Fulton Hospital in Roswell, Georgia. She further stated they found no evidence to indicate the incident was caused by drugs or alcohol. Doctors placed Brown in a medically induced coma after determining her brain function was "significantly diminished", and her family was told any meaningful recovery would be "a miracle".

On February 2, Brown was moved to Emory University Hospital, where she remained in a coma and on a medical ventilator. Her family said Brown had briefly opened her eyes, but a medical expert commented, "Blinking her eyes doesn't mean she's out of the woods."

Despite media reports stating Brown was brain dead and had been taken off life support, her family denied the claims on February 5, after having asked for privacy earlier in the week. In late February, she was briefly taken out of the coma, but the coma was reinduced after she suffered seizures.

During a radio interview on March 25, 2015, Brown's grandmother, Cissy Houston said Brown's condition remained the same and that there was "still not a great deal of hope. We're praying." Brown was moved to an Atlanta rehabilitation facility in March 2015. After Bobby Brown told concert-goers in April that his daughter was "awake", Cissy Houston released a statement saying her granddaughter was no longer in a medically induced coma, but remained unresponsive. Doctors said Brown had "global and irreversible brain damage".

In June 2015, Bobby Brown arranged to have his daughter flown to Chicago to be seen by specialists, only to be told that nothing could be done. She was flown back to Atlanta, and moved to Peachtree Christian Hospice in Duluth, Georgia, on June 24. Her aunt Pat Houston subsequently stated that her condition had continued to deteriorate.

Brown died in hospice care on July 26, 2015, at the age of 22. The initial autopsy found no "obvious underlying cause of death and no significant injuries were noted", and the Fulton County Medical Examiner's office said more tests were forthcoming. A statement released by the family thanked "everyone for their tremendous amount of love and support during these last few months." Several prominent celebrities offered their condolences, including Chris Brown and Oprah Winfrey. Funeral services were held August 1, 2015 at St. James United Methodist Church in Alpharetta, Georgia. Brown was buried two days later on August 3, 2015, next to her mother at Fairview Cemetery in Westfield, New Jersey.

Tragically Paul Walker died in a car crash on Saturday November 30, 2013, after attending a charity event for "Reach Out Worldwide.

On March 4, 1994, Kurt was taken to hospital in a coma. It was officially stated as an accident but many believe it to have been an unsuccessful suicide attempt. Family and friends convinced Kurt to seek rehab. Kurt was said to have fled rehab after only a few days from a missing person's report filed by Courtney Love. On April 8th Kurt's body was found in his Seattle home. In his arms was a shotgun, which had been fired into his head. Near him laid a suicide note written in red ink. It was addressed to his wife Courtney Love and his daughter Frances Bean Cobain. Two days after Kurt's body was discovered people gathered in Seattle, they began setting fires, chanting profanities, and fighting with police officers. They also listened to a tape of Courtney reading sections of the suicide note left by Kurt. The last few words were "I love you, I love you".

Ayrton Senna da Silva was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil to a wealthy family. When he was four years old his father Milton bought him a go-kart, and by age eight Ayrton was regularly competing in karting events. His career progressed quickly, and in 1982 he moved to England to pursue his racing. In 1984 he came to the attention of the whole world by racing in Formula One. Over the next ten years he won the World Championship three times and engaged in some controversial racing with France's Alain Prost and England's Nigel Mansell. Ayrton Senna was killed on 1 May 1994 in a race at the San Marino Grand Prix when his car, which had been beset with problems the entire season, inexplicably left the track and crashed into the concrete barrier. His was the last death in Formula One due to the major safety reforms that the tragic weekend at Imola had brought about. He was voted by over two hundred of his fellow Formula One drivers as the best driver of all time in a 2010 poll. Senna was also a humanitarian who discreetly donated millions to help those less fortunate in his native country.

On August 11, 2014, Robin Williams was found dead at his home in Tiburon, California USA, the victim of an apparent suicide, according to the Marin County Sheriff's Department. A 911 call was received at 11:55 AM PDT, firefighters and paramedics arrived at his home at 12:00 PM PDT, and he was pronounced dead at 12:02 PM PDT.

Lisa Blount died suddenly at the age of 53 after battling a rare blood disorder for 17 years.

Her mother told RadarOnline.com the "An Officer and a Gentleman" star suffered from Idiopathic Thrombocytopenic Purpura (ITP), in which low levels of platelets keep blood from clotting and lead to bleeding and bruising. 

"I think that might have been part of the problem when she passed away because when I found her she had a purple look on her neck that looked like blood on the surface," Louise Blount said.

Police revealed they were called to the actress' Little Rock, Ark., home on Wednesday after her mother found her in her bedroom.

"We think she died very sudden," Louise told the gossip website. "She had her phone in her hand and her bed was not disturbed.”

Blount had reportedly been complaining of back and neck pains and, according to the police, she called a friend on Monday afternoon to tell her she was feeling unwell.

On June 16, 1959, he was found shot to death at his home in Hollywood, California. To this day, there is still controversy over whether he killed himself or was murdered.

His career had slid to the point where he was considering an attempt at exhibition wrestling when he committed suicide by shooting himself. Stephanie Moseley, aged 30, a Canadian television personality and dancer who appeared on the show, was murdered on December 8, 2014, by her husband, Earl Warren Hayes, aged 34, an American rapper ("Nolia Clap"), who then committed suicide. Both deaths were by gunshot. Immediately before the shootings, Hayes was talking on FaceTime to his friend, Floyd Mayweather, who reportedly encouraged Hayes to leave Moseley for his career's sake and called him weak for not doing so. Once Mayweather realized Hayes was about to shoot her, he reportedly begged him to reconsider. The LAPD interviewed Mayweather, who says he heard the shots, for two hours about what he witnessed.

In April of 1970, Inger signed on as a series lead in a crime whodunit The Most Deadly Game (1970) to be telecast that September. It never came to be. Less than a week later, she was found unconscious on the floor of her kitchen by her housekeeper and died en route to the hospital of acute barbiturate intoxication -- a lethal combination of drugs and alcohol. Yvette Mimieux replaced her in the short-lived series that fall. For all intents and purposes, Ms. Stevens' death was a suicide but Patterson's bio indicates other possibilities. Following her death, it came out in the tabloids that she had been secretly married to African-American Ike Jones since 1961. The couple was estranged at the time of her death.

Katherine Chappell, 29, was in South Africa on a volunteer mission to help protect wildlife on June 1st 2015 when a lion attacked her through an open window of the vehicle she was traveling in. Ms Chappell wound down her window to take a photo of a lion which was only a meter away when it lunged at the editor and fatally bit her.

She died on March 24, 2015 in Digne-les-Bains, Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, France. Perished along with her husband Sascha Schenk and child Felix in the crash of Germanwings flight 9565 on March 24, 2015.

In the late 1960s, Seberg became involved in anti-war politics and was the target of an undercover campaign by the FBI to discredit her because of her association with several members of the Black Panther party. She was found dead under mysterious circumstances in a Paris suburb in 1979.

On June 10, 2016 while she was signing autographs after her concert at The Plaza in Orlando, Florida Christina was shot three times. Christina was rushed to Orlando Regional Medical Center in critical condition. The doctors tried to save her, but they couldn't. Christina Grimmie died from her injuries and blood loss. Christina Grimmie's shooter Kevin James Loibl killed himself after Mark Grimmie tackled him to the ground.

Anton lived in Los Angeles, California, until his death on the evening of June 19, 2016, outside his LA home, when he was struck by his Jeep Grand Cherokee after he accidentally left it in neutral on a hill.

While filming The Return of the Musketeers (1989), he fell from a horse, breaking his pelvis. Tragically, he died the next day in hospital, from a heart attack brought on by his injuries.

An increasingly unhappy life ended in early 1960 when he tripped on a Persian runner in his home, badly gashing his head on the corner of his TV set and driving bone fragments into his brain. He died on July 17 at the age of 64.

He was killed as the result of a traffic accident that occurred in the Denver suburb of Lakewood on the evening of July 6, 1972 at about 3:25 PM. He had been en route to visit his wife at a Denver hospital. His death was the result of a brawl in a parking lot outside a Winchell's Donuts store in South Pasadena during the early morning hours of December 29, 1996. Later that day at around 12 noon, he lunched with friends Leo Bulgarini and Catherine Case at a local restaurant. According to them, Nance had a visible "crescent shaped bruise" under his right eye and when they asked him how he got it, he told them the story about the fight. According to Nance, "two homeless bums" walked up to him asking for spare change. Nance refused by mouthing off to them and saying: "get a job and a haircut", and a brawl ensued where Nance received several punches (and possible kicks) to his face during the fight. There were no witnesses to the incident and it remains unclear if Nance had been drinking during that morning or who threw the first punch. He soon went home from the restaurant, complaining of a headache. However, the head injuries he received caused a subdural hematoma, resulting in his death the following morning over 24 hours later after receiving the injuries. Nance died alone in his apartment. His body was discovered on the bathroom floor by Bulgarini who checked up at around noon on December 30. An autopsy revealed that the actor's blood alcohol level was .24 percent at the time of his death.

JACK NANCE second wife, Kelly Van Dyke, aka Nancee Kelly, committed suicide by hanging on November 17, 1991. According to his younger brother Richard Nance, Jack, who was in Bass Lake, California, filming Meatballs 4 at the time, attempted to console her on the phone as she threatened suicide. A lightning storm knocked out the phones in Oregon, subsequently taking over 45 minutes for Nance and the director, Bobby Logan, to find a deputy sheriff who contacted Los Angeles police and the apartment manager. They broke into the cabin and found that she had hanged herself.

Carolyn Craig died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound[3] on December 12, 1970, in Culver City, California.

On October 5, 2014, she was seen at her apartment in Auburn, Washington. Her father called police on October 6th saying that she was missing. Police stopped her father from going after her, instead they searched her apartment and felt that she left of her own volition; and have not officially declared her missing. As of October 12, 2014 she had not contacted family or friends. On October 16, 2014, family and friends found a body in a ravine that they believed to be hers. Despite pleas from the family the police refused to help with search and rescue efforts. She was one of a 1000+ missing Native women whom the police never searched for.

On July 5, 1948, Carole committed suicide by taking an overdose of Seconal in her Brentwood Heights, California, home. She was only 29 and had made 49 pictures, most of which were, unfortunately, forgettable. If Hollywood moguls had given Carole a chance, she could have been one of the brightest stars in its history.

On the 3rd of July 1969, Brian was dragged unconscious from his swimming pool and later pronounced dead. He was 27. Mystery still surrounds his untimely death. Some believe it was drugs, some believe an asthma attack, and some even believe he was murdered.

In 1999, Brian's ex-girlfriend, Anna Wohlin, who was with him on the night he died, wrote a book stating that Brian was murdered by a friend who had been doing some work to his property.

One of the film's screenwriters Mickey Knox and production manager Claudio Mancini were in a hotel room when they saw his body pass their window. Jamie Lauren slipped on some rocks at the mouth of the Lumahai River on Kauai, Hawaii and was swept out to sea. Lifeguards and paramedics rushed to rescue Jamie, but were not able to resuscitate her.

On 7 September 1951 Maria Montez was discovered drowned in her bath, possibly having first suffered a heart attack.

On November 25, 1957, he was having dinner at The Masquers Club, a private club for actors and producers in Los Angeles, when he choked on some food and died. The newspapers initially listed his cause of death as a heart attack. An autopsy reveal he died of asphyxia.

Martin traveled to Memphis, Tennessee to meet with two of his advisers, James Bevel and Jesse Jackson, to discuss organizing a march to Washington in support of a strike by Memphis' city's sanitation workers. In the late afternoon of April 4, he stepped out onto the balcony of the Lorraine Motel where he was staying to speak with Andrew Young. As he saw Jackson and waved to him for a moment, a gunshot rang through the air and Martin Luther King Jr. was hit in the neck and fell dead from a sniper's bullet. He was dead, but the struggle that he started to continue to bring peace and end the racial conflict in the USA continues to this day.

Stone's death was a particularly tragic one. A group of rowdy teenagers had invaded his meticulously kept garden, and he ran out to prevent damage and ask them to leave. The effort proved too much for the gallant 73-year-old and he collapsed of a heart attack, dying almost instantly.
