Sheen

Wow, I cannot believe I am the first reviewer for this film. This film depicts Kashmiri Pandits being forced out of their homes by the Muslim Extremists who are fighting for their freedom, but ironically, taking way others (eg Kashmiri Pandits)

In Kashmir, all is well for Pandit Amarnath (Raj Babbar)and his family, but when Muslims extremists (backed by Pakistan) bring their narrow minded ideals into the valley, peace is threatened.

The Pluses: Raj babbar's acting, Sheen and her looks. Anup Soni's acting, it actually makes u feel he is dangerous. Some of the dialogues such as "A True Follower of Islam would not tolerate a neighbor's grief, or "Why would you advocate for freedom while you are taking someone elses." The songs were nice for background only, not lisp singing.

The Minuses: Depiction of massacres and violence are heart breaking and not for the sensitive hearted. The love story is an obstacle. Released at the time when Indo-Pak relations were warm.

Overall, Sheen is an underrated flick that depicts the suffering of the Kashmiri Pandits. Raj Babbar should have at least got a nomination for best supporting actor at least. 7/10.
