I really love falcon beach, but most of the acting sucks! Everyone but lane, Jason and Paige have really no talent. The only reason i watch it because i want to see Jason and Paige together. Tonya gets on my nerves mainly because she thinks she is so damn hot(which is really ugly)and she thinks she's cool because she does drugs, which she couldn't act drunk or high if her life depended on it. when Danny and his girlfriend or even the parents(no one really cares about them anyways) come on i change the channel because their acting is unbelievably bad. The O.C. is of course better but still I'm hooked on Falcon Beach. i can't wait for the new season.

Surprisingly entertainment

When I first heard this show was coming out I had many doubts about it. The main one being, another version of the O.C. I was pleasantly surprised however. This show is nothing like the O.C and had many different story lines. It is really a good show with fantastic Canadian actors and great story lines. When i found out this show was also Canadian I think it made it that much better. It isn't all that often that Canada comes out with a great television show. This really is a good show with great developing love triangles, love interests and good cliff hangers. You should really try to check it out and give it a chance, I think you will be surprised too!

At first, I was like, "OOO! Another O.C.! I like that show... I can't wait until Falcon Beach comes out!" And, of course, I start getting grief from my father and my brother of how bad the show looks. And I'm sad to say this, but, they were right. In my opinion, Fox's 'The O.C.' is so much better than this! Falcon Beach is a total rip off of The O.C. and Summerland (which I don't like very much either, but thats a different story). It's a bunch of bad acting from actors no one has ever heard of, and the plot line is terrible! And could SOMEONE in this business PLEASE have an original thought?!
Compared to The O.C.:
They both have "Bad Boys".
They both have at least one new person.
They both have relationship problems.
They both are set by the beach.
etc.
GIVE ME A BREAK!! At least the actors on The O.C. can do their job description!! Not to be rude, but I think the only reason these people were hired, is because they are pretty. I'm hoping this series will not be renewed for next year, so they will have an open position for a better show.

Entraping

I had seen many commercials for this new show on ABC Family. I was very skeptical about it. Eventually one Sunday night I saw that the 2 hour pilot was on followed by the first episode of the season. It was a Sunday night and I thought I should give the show a chance. Before I knew it I was entrapped by the show. This is not anything like the O.C as one might think, plus it takes place in Canada.
The show is set is the small community of Falcon Beach where everyone waits on the Summer, even the local economy which depends heavily on summer tourists. The show follows the lives of a couple twenty something year olds trying to figure out where they are going in life.
Jason is the main character of the show. He is a local boy whose father died when he was younger. His mother and him run a boat rental where business is struggling. He is torn between two girls that enter and re-enter his life at the start of this summer, Paige and Tayna. Paige is an out of towner who is there for the summer with her mother while her father tries to save the business he is CEO of in Toronto. Tayne is a local who had been gone for a couple for years modeling in Europe and has returned with many problems in her life. Helping him get through all of his troubles is Jason's good friend Danny, who I might add is having his own girl troubles.
The acting in the show is done quite well. Steve Byers does a very good job of portraying the 20 something Jason and really shows Jason's up and down emotions. I think that Jennifer Kydd as Paige may be the best actress on the show portraying Paige the snobby rich girl who is disgusted of Falcon Beach at first but slowly breaks out of her shell and becomes a part of the lives of the locals. The only bad acting comes out in Devon Weigel who plays the role of Tayna, the model who has come back to Falcon Beach. She has a tough time with emotional scenes and always ends up over acting.
Overall the show is very entertaining and as I said earlier, the story lines are entrapping and the most the characters are easily liked. It is a show where you become attached to the people in it and as you watch you wish you could tell them what to do. I recommend it to everyone.

Fun, fresh and jam packed with sunshine, Falcon Beach is a lakeside town where people meet and mingle in the summer months as the out-of-towners join the townies and their worlds collide. There's plenty of love, lust, drinks, drugs, sand, surf, laughter and tears. Spanning over thirteen one-hour episodes that pick up where 2005's 2 hour pilot left off, we follow the rich Bradshaw family in from the city, the Ellis and Tanner families who are local, and plenty of others who come and go as summer heats up (including the adorable lifeguard and the hot doctor in residence). Canadian made and adapted for American audiences, Falcon Beach is a perfect summer kick-off.

As a female teenager, i love this show! I think it shows story lines all of us can relate to! I think the worst part of the show was Jason and Tanyas relationship. Jason should be with Paige-they have so much chemistry. Not to mention tanya bugs the crap outta me. Lane and Tanya are perfect for each other as are Danny and Erin. I think that Paiges cousin and Adrian should be together too. What do you think? At the end of every weeks episode, I always am counting down the days until the next! This show makes me cry sometimes and is most definitely not one for under-12-year-olds! It also could be awkward to watch it with the rents. but that may just be me. I think this is because of the drug and sexual references. >I do not think that this show is a copy of any particular show or shows. It has references to Summerland(love that show!!), the OC, maybe even What I like about you.... Give this show the chance it deserves!!!!! Tiffany

I must admit, when I first saw a preview for this show, I thought it was going to be stupid. I thought ABC Family was trying to make a new Wildfire and well, quite frankly, I was angry. Wildfire is my favorite show.
Then one night after I finished studying for a final, I went into the den to watch the 2 hour premiere. And boy, was I amazed with what I saw! There was such on screen chemistry between the actors. They worked so well together. The wake boarding can get a little annoying though; I think the director focuses too much on it. I also do enjoy the big drug reference. It certainly seems, to me, that they are trying to show how bad drugs are for anyone.
Now I have to admit, Falcon Beach is my favorite show. There is so much more going on than in other ABC Family shows and I love everything that happens. It is an excellent summer show, considering there is nothing on the television in summer. But I would not recommend it for families with young children. It is a much better show for teens and young adults.
