Not Bad

I watched this short on my computer while a movie was playing on the TV and the short was more interesting that the movie. It's a little cliquish but overall I enjoyed the time I spent watching the film.

The production values are good and the acting is fine, but I didn't fine anything really surprising not even the end. The short talks about the exploitation of the female form but could have gone more in-depth for the film to receive a higher rating and be more interesting.

A young woman, performing the main role in a theater play. A provocative aspect of her role. Talk about it . And the solidarity of director, showed in radical way.

A simple story, admirable crafted, about options, desire, art , provocative demand, angry and acceptance.

And about the gesture of other as form of solidarity. Inspired talk moments as heart of film.

Talks about nudity. Didn't have guts to show it.

The short film discusses whether the lead character should perform fully nude in a play even though she doesn't want to. In the end, she reluctantly agrees, but the film doesn't show her actual nudity. That inability to fully commit to the story by both the actress and the director weakens the whole point of the film.

Why spend all that time arguing for something that, as one reviewer put it, features "thought-provoking" ideas and "stir up discussion and encourage more critical thinking" about the actress doing something that would add power to the play within the story, but not show it in the film itself. It's hypocritical.

No, it's gutless.
