history lesson
Kirpianuscus27 February 2024
In context of Black memory and controverses about political correctness, this film represents real a fresh air breath. Because it proposes not eccentric rehabilitation, not revenge, not obscure justice forms but return to memory.

Wise crafted, it use a wedding on a South plantation, one Black guest and his acute sensitivity about past of location for a great, admirable crafted remind of slavery and its terrible abuses.

Sure, hallucination of a man familiar with dark stories about grief of his race people but, for viewer, fair way for not ignore a cruel history .

So, I admitt, at the end, I was profound grateful to director for this inspired, simple exposed, history lesson.
