Saw it now on Amazon Prime and it's a very nice short with a beautiful message of love and, specially, friendship.

Love, rivalry, death and return. And, more important, friendship. A splendid - touching animation about the life and the deaths of a tomcat, seductive stop - motion use and great end, reminding mute romances in old style. So, just lovely.
