This song was used to sublime effect in the Community episode Remedial Chaos Theory. The video is memorable, and it's great to see the song used over 30 years later for such a memorable episode.

evergreen

A song having the gift to be more actual today than in the 1970 decade. For the social message, for the gentl tone m for the fair way to define a reality of cold, dark tones in proper manner.
A song of love and acceptance.
And wise way to remind old truths.
The theme is old, the lyrics - just inspired ones. Reminding the affection of Rodion Raskolnikov to Sonia Marmeladova, it is a song about truths behind apparences and its message, simple and precise, remains the basic gift to the viewer.
Sure, a classic and one of memorable hits of The Police. But, more important, a wise crafted sketch about attitude about the other , about love and about forms of egocentrism.
So, for many reasons, just an evergreen.
