After a six-month break, American Horror Story is clawing its way back.
The 12th season in FX’s hit horror anthology from Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk was split into two parts, an effect of the 2023 dual Hollywood strikes. The first five episodes of AHS: Delicate concluded in October 2023, and now the final four episodes will kick off weekly beginning April 3.
And the trailer (below) for the back-half of the season shows that viewers will finally get some answers around the mysteries swirling over the starring trio played by Emma Roberts, Kim Kardashian and Cara Delevingne.
The Satanic cult-themed new footage confirms that something is very wrong with rising actress Anna Alcott, played by Roberts, who is seen snacking on bones and imagining spiders crawling out of her pregnant belly.

WandaVision got the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Disney+ era off to a strong start and it’s not hard to see why. The series featured a compelling love story between a witch and an android, satisfying callbacks to classic sitcoms, and most importantly: Kathryn Hahn.
Hahn is a charismatic performer who tends to elevate just about anything she pops up in. That’s why it was no surprise that her mild-mannered next door neighbor Agnes was revealed to be none other than Agatha Harkness – powerful witch and the architect of all of Wanda’s suffering. Following the success of WandaVision, Marvel quickly announced a spinoff starring Hahn as Agatha. Now if they could only figure out what to call the darn thing …

“American Horror Story: Delicate” is off to a brutally bland start. We’re already three weeks into the series’ first attempt at a book adaptation for the FX horror show — a mainstay in seasonal television disappointments, now in its twelfth installment — and next to nothing has happened.
Set against contemporary Hollywood via Manhattan (and later the Hamptons), author Danielle Valentine’s “Delicate Condition” could have provided the basis for a decent limited series or possibly a movie. But AHS needed something meatier than a middling “Rosemary’s Baby” redux to keep the anthology’s rapidly diminishing legacy from swirling down the drain like hormone-riddled pee. And yet somehow, Ryan Murphy and co-creator Brad Falchuk have let a series that once had Frances Conroy cannibalizing a still-alive Adina Porter become excruciatingly boring.

Actor Julia Roberts has always shown support to her niece Emma Roberts as she’s carved out her own acting career. But at the same time, Roberts couldn’t stomach watching Emma in one of her most popular projects.
Julia Roberts couldn’t bring herself to watch Emma Roberts in ‘American Horror Story Emma Roberts | Axelle/Bauer-Griffin/FilmMagic
Roberts has been a major inspiration for Emma’s acting ambitions since her childhood years. According to an interview she did with Allure, Emma couldn’t help catch the acting bug when on film sets with her aunt.
“I’d run and hide in her makeup trailer and hear, ‘Where’s Emma? It’s time for bed! She has to go home,'” Emma said. “I remember it feeling like summer camp, just the feeling of creativity.”
Emma’s passion for the movie business would eventually land her Ryan Murphy’s popular American Horror Story anthology series.

Even if one doesn't watch Ryan Murphy's and Brad Falchuk's "American Horror Story," one is likely familiar with the show's amazing ad campaign. Soon beginning its twelfth season, "American Horror Story" has always sported surrealist original artworks that only vaguely allude to the content of the series. The first season saw a pregnant woman and a man in a full-body vinyl outfit suspended in an all-red room. The third season, "Coven" featured a snake passing between the lips of three women standing close together. The fifth season, "Hotel," used an eyeless human face made of mattress panels, a key spearing its cheeks. The seventh season, "Cult," sported a woman with an elongated tongue.
The latest season, "Delicate," continued with the tradition by depicting the season's stars, Emma Roberts, Kim Kardashian, and Cara Delevigne, handling outsize spiders in vaguely pregnancy-themed tableaus. By FX's own description, "Delicate" is about...

“American Horror Story” is one of FX’s most successful series to date, airing for 11 seasons (and 123 episodes) between 2011 and 2022 and winning 16 Emmys along the way. In January 2020, the cable network made the bold decision to renew Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk‘s horror anthology series for three more installments — Season 11, Season 12 and Season 13. That ensures the flagship show will be on our TV screens through at least the year 2024. Scary good!

Kim Kardashian is ready to get her freak on in the upcoming season of American Horror Story.
FX and Hulu dropped the first teaser video Friday for what is officially titled American Horror Story: Delicate.
In the spooky footage, Kardashian can be seen wearing a long blonde wig and black dress, while cradling what is presumed to be a baby. A twisted remix of “Rock-a-bye Baby” also plays in the background, while identical figures dance in an ominous manner.
Viewers also get a look at Cara Delevingne as well as AHS alum Emma Roberts, who is returning to the franchise after a four-year hiatus. She has previously appeared in Coven, Freak Show, Cult, Apocalypse and 1984.
Season 12 is unlike previous iterations of the anthology series as it’s the first season to be based, at least in part, on a book. Specifically, Danielle Valentine’s Delicate Condition, which comes out in August.

Gorehounds rejoice: everyone's favorite ultra-violent clown is coming back for more.
Deadline is reporting that "Terrifier 3," the third entry in the blood-drenched series, is moving forward, with France-based distributors The Coven launching worldwide sales. There are no plot details to speak of just yet, but you can bet that Art the Clown will be obliterating people in typically gory fashion. The first film, "Terrrifier," was a low-budget, mostly under-the-radar affair when it arrived back in 2016.
Then came "Terrifier 2" last year. The film had a big marketing push, with much talk about how "extreme" it all was. That paid off in a big way: the sequel grossed $15 million on a $250,000 budget. That's a big return, folks! With box office numbers like that, it was only a matter of time before Art the Clown returned.

It was only a matter of time before these words ended up in a sentence together: Kim Kardashian will be joining the 12th season of Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk's long-running anthology, "American Horror Story." A collaboration between the man who explores fame, camp, luxury, and what captures America's attention, and the woman who has captured America's attention better than anyone else feels so natural, that it's surprising it hasn't happened sooner.
Kardashian posted a teaser promo to her Instagram account today announcing the collaboration. In the promo, you can hear the sound of children playing along with a slow, eerie rendition of "Rock-a-bye Baby." An enigmatic, slowly revealed tagline reads: "Emma Roberts and Kim Kardashian are delicate." Roberts is an "American Horror Story" veteran who played the witch Madison Montgomery in the seasons titled "Coven" and "Apocalypse," and appeared as other characters in the anthology along the way.

Sometimes you read a headline that feels so impossibly off-balance with the world, you can't help but wonder if you're living in a simulation or the world's worst season of "The Truman Show." Today was one of those days, as we tragically lost Lance Reddick, one of the most remarkable figures in film and television. Reddick was best known for playing Cedric Daniels on the hit HBO series "The Wire," which led to a fruitful career playing other authority figures because no one on the planet can pull off a uniform quite like he could.
But Lance Reddick was so much more than a cool bald guy in a freshly-pressed suit with optional wire-rim glasses. The man was also a formidable presence in genre projects, both big and small. He was one of those performers who could elevate any story simply by being on screen, exuding an immeasurable amount of...

In 2017, following eight losses throughout the preceding decade, Ryan Murphy finally achieved his first competitive PGA Award win for producing the first iteration of “American Crime Story,” aka “The People v. A war between faith and science determines the fate of an infected village in a gross episode that doesn’t have as much to say as it thinks.
“Love doesn’t heal, Celeste, only science can do that.”
Both American Horror Stories and American Horror Story proper have tackled endless subject matter that has explored the entire world across multiple time periods. However, 1750s New England during the height of the smallpox outbreak is new territory for the anthology series. There’s a tremendous amount of merit in telling an 18th century plague story, both in terms of the era’s blunt visuals, but also with how it can hold a mirror up to society’s own fragility during the past few years. “Milkmaids” begins as the episode from this season of American Horror Stories with the most potential, but ultimately it’s an entry full of disappointing decisions that...

We finally have news about American Horror Story Season 11! The new season of Ryan Murphy’s horror anthology will premiere in the fall, FX chairman John Landgraf announced during his virtual executive session at the Television Critics Association’s summer press tour. That puts it on track to premiere about a year after Season 10 ended — and fittingly, just in time for Halloween. The first five seasons premiered in October, the next four in September, and the 10th in August. As a result, that last one was the only one not to air new episodes around Halloween (with the finale on October 20). We are still waiting for any details about what Season 11 will entail. So far, the first 10 seasons have been titled Murder House, Asylum, Coven, Freak Show, Hotel, Roanoke, Cult, Apocalypse, 1984, and Double Feature, with the occasional crossover. What we do know is that it won’t be the last.

These two longtime cast members let loose during the August 25 season premiere with a tender rendition of Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers‘ 1983 love ballad “Islands In the Stream.” Above, watch the “American Horror Story: Double Feature” video clip that everyone’s talking about.
Long-delayed because of Covid-19, the 10th season finally aired on Wednesday night with lots of former cast members returning to the fold. Peters takes on the role of playwright Austin Sommers while Conroy portrays famed author Sarah “Belle Noir” Cunningham. The unlikely duo comes to Provincetown, Massachusetts every year in order to get the juices flowing — both figuratively and literally. Acting challenges are make-or-break games for the drag queens. The campy horror flick on RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars Season 6 Episode 6 was no exception.
Choosing the right role gives a queen a juicy scene to shine in. However, choosing the wrong role pushes a queen into the background and out of the competition.
Not all roles have the "wow factor," which explains the queens' results on "Rumerican Horror Story: Coven Girls."
The results of the lipstick vote from RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars Season 6 Episode 5 was a gag-worthy moment. Did anyone expect it to be a tied vote?
Jan and Scarlet Envy were neck and neck in their campaigning after the challenge; it was a close race. For it to come down to a tied vote, it confirmed these queens were willing to play the game.
Jan needs to realize that everyone is following their own set of rules for their lipstick votes.

Sarah Paulson, who played three different characters in AHS: Roanoke, now tells The Hollywood Reporter‘s Awards Chatter podcast, “I just don’t care about this season at all. I know people will get mad at me for saying it, but for me, this was post having played Marcia [Clark on American Crime Story] and it was what I went to do right after finishing Marcia.”

With seven nominations under her belt, it might feel like Sarah Paulson has been all over the Emmys for years. But the frequent collaborator of Ryan Murphy has only dominated a specific section of the awards: the limited series/TV movie categories. This year she has the opportunity to change that.
Paulson won her first and so far only Emmy for her lead performance as Marcia Clark on FX’s anthology series “The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story” in 2016. However, she has been nominated a total of three times in the Best Limited Series/TV Movie Actress category. Her other two bids were for the “Coven” and “Cult” installments of FX’s horror anthology series “American Horror Story.” Paulson’s other four Emmy nominations came in the corresponding supporting actress category and are for her performances in HBO’s “Game Change” as well as the “AHS” installments “Asylum,...

IFC Midnight has acquired North American rights to Sean King O’Grady’s upcoming Tribeca premiere We Need To Do Something.
O’Grady’s feature directorial debut is written by Max Booth III based on his novella of the same name about Melissa and her family as they seek shelter from a storm and become trapped.
With no sign of rescue, hours turn to days and Melissa comes to realise that she and her girlfriend Amy might have something to do with the horrors that threaten to tear her family – and the entire world – apart.

Photo: ‘American Horror Story’/FX ‘American Horror Story’ - The Art Of Fan Popularity The first season of American Horror Story, ‘Murder House,’ released in 2011, engulfing the audiences with its cast, sex appeal, storyline, and connection to real-life horror events and individuals. After the first season, nine followed with ‘Asylum,’ ‘Coven,’ ‘Freak Show,’ ‘Hotel,’ ‘Roanoke,’ ‘Cult,’ ‘Apocalypse,’ and ‘1984.’ The art of the show comes from the connections within the seasons themselves that flow from each storyline allowing audiences to revisit characters along the way. While the storylines themselves can start and end from a later season to an earlier one, the links hold true. The season that physically transports itself to an earlier season is 2018’s ‘Apocalypse’ with connections to the witches from ‘Coven’ and the birth of Michael Langdon from ‘Murder House.’ Also, a big heartfelt hug from the revisit to Violet Harmon and Tate Langdon’s love story ending on a good note.
